My Best Pet

Are you a cat man or a dog man? This is a funny question. I like both cats and dogs, however, I prefer one kind than the other one. If you want to know the answer, please keep on reading; the blog is short this time. Everyone knows that there are many differences between cats and dogs. For instance, in contrast to more honest dogs, cats are much clever. Similarly, there are many differences between owning dogs and cats. First, owning cats is more convenient, especially when living out of the city. Cat men don’t need to spend more time to stay with cats, because cats are clever animals, they know how to enjoy themselves. Conversely, dog men need to spend more time to stay or to play with their friends, otherwise, their friends may be so sad. Second, owing cats is always safe, however, owing dog sometimes may trouble dog men. If dog man owns a docile dog, it will be OK; If dog man owns a “hungry dog”, he must teach his dog to distinguish the differences between a hot dog and a human leg. Third, I want to say something advantage that owning dogs. Owning dogs is also a happy thing. Dogs are very honest, even though they sometimes may beat a stranger so that cause you in trouble, they never beat their owner because they think the owner as their family. On the other hand, owing cats sometimes are confused cat men with belongingness. We know cats are so clever animals that they are able to change their owner if they feel uncomfortable. In conclusion, I can make neither dogs nor cats to be my pets, because I don’t want my honest friend to be sad for my short of time, neither want to get a potential that raise pets for neighbours. However, I would like to raise a dog if I have enough time. Dogs are similar with children. They are lovely and honest. Sometimes they may cause some trouble that make me angry, but soon I would forgive him, it’s easy. It’s not necessary for me to make pleasure to the dog. However, I like cats too. May be they are just not the best pets for me.

When a man respects a woman

     









     Have you heard these vocabularies, manly girl and sissy? Actually, these are negative, or with something derogatory. However, Why do the words come to our life frequently in recent days? Maybe it due to the status changes between men and women. In China, we used to speak, “Women can prop up a half of sky.” But in fact, sometimes women can even prop up the whole day. I even couldn’t believe the big changes between men and women in China in the past 30 years. As we know, male had the absolute high status 30 years ago in China. Factory workers were masculine, police officers were masculine, firefighters were masculine, mail carriers were all masculine too. In traditional, feminine shouldn’t do these jobs as they are too hard to do for them. Sometimes it was considered several jobs were not suitable for feminine to do, politicians, soldiers, and athletes for instance. These situations have changed a lot nowadays. We can see Chinese feminine athletes always get more awards than masculinity. There are several feminine politicians play important roles in the government. The interesting changes are in the families. For example, In 30 years ago, husband make the decision, and wife should listen to her husband. Recently, although husband maybe head of the family also, but wife is neck; you know, the neck can move the head easily. We can understand that the character of a masculine is direct and may be hard while the character of a feminine is soft. Just like a tooth is hard a tongue is soft. When a man is gets old, he will have his tongue left but not his teeth. So the soft will take over the hard. All the changes is not the reason that the mail becomes sissy and the female becomes manly. In my opinion, the changes show that people in China have been opening their minds, different cultures communicate, and make them more advanced in ideas during these years. Finally, it is the respect between men and women.

To Be A Cartoon Fan

I’ve spent a happy time In my childhood because of cartoons. I obsessed with cartons specially in my summer or winter holidays. In the  1990s in China, there were programs broadcasting on almost every TV stations from 5:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m .These programs just like Big Windmill, Jigsaw Puzzle, Comic World and so on, and they are for children or pupils . Children could see cartons basically during this time.(Chinese TV stations have a regular schedule. For example, all the stations should broadcast CCTV news form7:00p.m to 7:30p.m. If it is the first time for you to come to China, never ask the waiter to call an engineer to repair your TV set during this time, they won’t come to help you. The reason is not they love the CCTV news very much, it is because they have experienced a lot of these embarrassed things during 7:00p.m to 7:30p.m: a foreigner came to China and he saw all the TV stations on the television were broadcasting one program, he thought the television must need repair.) So, this one hour is very precious for me. Not only the cartoons are really funny and interesting, but also it likes a friend of mine. In the 1980s, family planning reminds a basic state of China because of the exponential population. Many families have only one child. The children who were born in the 1980s always felt lonely in their families and they really need to acquire a good friend, and then the cartoons appeared. Comparing with other programs, cartoon is easier for children to understand and the characters in cartoon are comic and colorful.  

In my childhood, the cartoons I have seen could be divided into three types depending on their motherlands. The first one is Chinese cartoons. Chinese cartoons are not so funny but they could be simple and nature, and they always tell short and warm stories. The classic Chinese cartoons are Little Tadpoles Find Mother, Hair Brothers, Black Cat Sir, Calabash Brothers and so on. The second type is western cartoons, they come from Europe or America. Western cartoons are really funny and interesting, I like to see this kind of cartoons because I can get more pleasure. I can still remember the names of these cartoons, Tom And Jerry, Transformers, Barbapapa, Mickey Mouse, He-Man.The third type is Japanese cartoons. Japanese cartoons are very excellent, one can find any kinds of cartoons from them. As the age growing, we would think the Chinese cartoons are too simple for us, and we want change a funny cartoon that is different from western cartoon, we can always choose a Japanese cartoon. We could see Doraemon or Sakura Momoko when we were little children; we could select Saint Seiya or Naruto when we were in teenagers; and when we aren’t children or pupils any more, we also can see some cartoons, just like the cartoon movies directed by Hayao Miyazaki. In my opinion, cartoons are not meaning naive, we can harvest many things from cartoons. For example, I love cartoon very much. When I was a pupil, I must do my best in my lessons and try my best to get a good behavior so that my parents would let me see cartoon during the cartoon time, and I keep the habits of try to do my best from then on. Therefore, there are no bad guys among the cartoon fans.
